FAQ

Answers to the questions patients ask most often about care, fees, scheduling, and what to expect.

We do not participate in individual or commercial insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare. This model allows for more personalized, flexible, and confidential care, without the constraints often imposed by insurance companies.

If your plan includes out-of-network coverage, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. Upon request, we can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement depends on your individual plan.

Fees vary depending on the type and length of the appointment (e.g., initial evaluation, follow-up, therapy, child vs. adult evaluation). Payment is due at the time of service. A valid credit or debit card is kept securely on file using a HIPAA-compliant platform. Zelle is also accepted.

Both. Some patients benefit from therapy alone, some from medication, and many from a combination of the two. The best approach is determined together through individualized treatment planning.

We treat a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, trauma-related conditions, and behavioral and emotional challenges in children and adolescents, among others.

Initial adult evaluations are typically 60 minutes. Initial child and adolescent evaluations are conducted either as one 120 minute session or two 60 minute sessions where the first half is with the child only and the second half is with the parent(s)/guardian. Therapy appointments are typically around 50 minutes. Follow-up appointments are typically 30 minutes and frequency of appointments is individualized based on your needs.
